For the past ten years, Lyris Technologies has developed and licensed email technology, including Lyris ListManager—a software application designed to enable users to automatically build and manage opt-in email lists, as well as create, send, and track transactional email and email marketing campaigns. In addition, Lyris offers a web-based email marketing service, Lyris ListHosting, which comprises the same features and functionality as the software, and is accessible through a web browser. Both solutions permit organizations to generate and send messages according to recipients’ preferences, as well as user-defined triggers and other online events.

Since 1999, EmailLabs has developed a hosted email marketing platform, provided as an on-demand, web-based service. The service can be customized and integrated within an organization’s web site, as well as its sales force automation and customer relationship management technologies. Sparklist is an email list hosting provider that offers hosted online services for email discussion groups, newsletters and announcements, as well as targeted email marketing campaigns. In addition, Sparklist provides professional services such as database integration and migration, advanced email scripting, spam consulting, and customized training courses for email marketing.
